SUNY Adirondack Foundation Special Events

Each year, the SUNY Adirondack Foundation holds events to raise funds for scholarships and to raise awareness of its mission.

The Lyman A. Beeman, Jr. Golf Tournament: now in its 23rd year, the Golf Tournament has rotated among several of our region’s most beautiful golf courses.  A perfect spring outing includes golf with cart, top prizes, raffles and dining throughout the day.   The Lyman A. Beeman, Jr. Golf Tournament provides a wonderful way to help your college and spend a day with friends.

The 50th Anniversary Gala to benefit scholarships was held on Saturday, October 8, 2011.  It was a beautiful evening of dining, dancing, silent and live auctions which featured Mark Mulholland as our guest Master of Ceremonies, SUNY Chancellor Nancy L. Zimpher, SUNY Adirondack President Ronald C. Heacock, our distinguished Board of Trustees hosted by the SUNY Adirondack Foundation Directors.  The event was hosted by Honorary Chairs, Tom and Sally Hoy and raised over $80,000 for student scholarships.

Fall Scholarship Reception: is a wonderful event which offers the opportunity to bring our scholarship sponsors together with a chance to meet the scholarship recipients.  We honor the generosity of our sponsors and the hard work of our students.
