2012-2013 Scholarship Program

(coordinated by the SUNY Adirondack Foundation to award the Named Scholarships as well as the
Scholarships Sponsored by other Foundations and/or Trusts)
 

Your opportunity is now, the money is free  for all returning students to complete a single application for consideration for more than sixty awards (individual awards range from $100 to full-tuition). Recipients will be notified in late April and the scholarships will be awarded next Fall and applied to your student account.

Who Can Apply During Scholarship Week?
SUNY Adirondack students enrolled in Spring classes who have earned a minimum of 12 credits with a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5 at the end of the Fall semester, and who plan to enroll at SUNY Adirondack for at least six credits for the following Fall semester. Please note that students pursuing SUNY Plattsburgh, Empire State or Paul Smith's College degrees on the SUNY Adirondack campus are not eligible for this scholarship program.

How do you Apply?
The application has two parts. Part I contains demographic and identification information needed to enter your application in the Banner system. Part II is the information to be reviewed by the selection committee and includes your current and future majors, SUNY Adirondack and community involvement, and, most important of all, your responses to four questions that will introduce you to the selection committee and scholarship sponsors. We encourage you to review your application carefully and consider using the services of the Writing Center. The application is a fillable form which can be saved on your computer, printed and reviewed.  A final, signed copy must be submitted to the Financial Aid Office by 4:00pm on Friday, March 9th.
