Scholarships

Since its inception, the primary purpose of the ACC Foundation has been to provide scholarship assistance to ACC students. At the present time, there are three categories of scholarships provided by the Foundation.

Categories of Scholarships

1. Foundation Sponsored Scholarships which are supported by income generated from the Foundation’s endowment, fund raising events and the annual giving campaign. There are currently three types of scholarship funded by the Foundation:
   
   
2. Scholarships Sponsored by Other Foundations and/or Trusts, which annually provide a predetermined level of financial support.

3. College Scholarships are scholarships which have been established by area companies, organizations and individuals. Typically bearing the name of the company or organization which has sponsored the scholarship or, in the case of an individual, the person in whose memory the scholarship was created, these scholarships are promoted during Scholarship Week in the Spring and awarded for the following Fall semester. For the most part,they are available only to students already attending ACC as opposed to new, first time students. Presently, there are 51 College Scholarships being offered.
