MEDICAL TRANSCRIPTION--Hybrid Certificate Program
A & H Training CorporationNo. See Below
Total: $2,750.0031 sessions
Tuition: $2,190.00Fee: $560.00

The above cost covers the three modules needed to complete the program.

This hybrid approach to learning Medical Transcription was developed in order to provide students the flexibility of doing most of their schoolwork at home. Using a combination of instructor guided and work-on-your-own scheduling, students attend intermittent classes on the ACC campus, but complete assignments and testing at home in an “online” classroom.

Conducted over 3 modules, the medical transcription course is structured, but the hybrid learning format requires students to be very disciplined. Upon successful completion of the course, students are then prepared to enter the health services industry as a professional medical transcriptionist.

An informational session will be held on the evening of Wednesday, September 9th at 6:00 p.m. during which the medical transcription program and related career opportunities will be discussed. A demonstration covering how online learning actually works will also be given. Please contact the ACC Center for Personal and Professional Development at 743-2238 to register for this free informational session.

Upon successful completion of the program, students will have what they need to:

  • work from home as an independent contractor or for a company specializing in medical transcription, or work in a hospital or doctor’s office.

  • be able to sit for the Registered Medical Transcription certification exam which is the only certification recognized by potential employers.
