REGISTRATION HOURS: Registration is on-going, Mon.-Fri., 8:00am-4:00pm, in Washington Hall.

COURSE LOCATIONS: Except where noted differently in course descriptions classes are held at the SUNY Adirondack campus, 640 Bay Road, Queensbury.

Your registration receipt will indicate the location of your particular class. Please check your receipt to ensure you are familiar with your class site.

REFUND POLICY: 100% tuition and fees will be refunded up to two full business days (must be at least 48 hours, unless otherwise indicated) prior to the start of the program. Examples of meeting the 48-hour deadline: 9:00am Thursday for a 9:00am Monday class, 4:00pm Monday for a 6:00pm Wednesday class.

Continuing Education must be notified during regular business hours – 8:00am – 4:00pm, Monday through Friday. This refund policy was adopted to support efficient and effective management of Continuing Education offerings.

No refunds will be processed once the 48-hour deadline has passed and credit cannot be applied to another course. Exceptions to the refund policy will be rare and considered only under unusually mitigating circumstances.

PREREQUISITES: You will notice that prerequisites are specified for some courses. These are necessary to ensure that all students registered in a course will be at a similar competency level. If a prerequisite is specified in the description of the course for which you have registered, please be sure you have met the requirement.

SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBERS: The College uses SSNs solely to maintain accurate student records.

SENIOR CITIZENS: If you are 60 years of age or older, you may register tuition-free on a space available basis unless otherwise indicated. Audit status covers tuition only. Materials fees must be paid. If we cannot honor your request for audit due to the number of tuition-paying students, you will be given the opportunity to pay for the course and keep your seat.

How to Register: Registrations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. All courses and programs are subject to cancellation for insufficient enrollment, so please register early. The decision to proceed with or cancel a class based on enrollment is made 48 hours prior to the class start date.

There are four ways to register.

In Person: At the Continuing Education office, Washington Hall, Monday through Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm. MasterCard, Visa, Discover, cash, and checks (made payable to SUNY Adirondack) are accepted.

By Mail: Complete and send the registration form with payment to: SUNY Adirondack Continuing Education, 640 Bay Road, Queensbury, NY 12804. MasterCard, Visa, Discover, and checks (made payable to SUNY Adirondack) are accepted. 

By Phone: Available to anyone paying by credit card (MasterCard, Visa, Discover). Call 743-2238
Monday through Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm. When you call, please have the following information ready:
(1) your credit card number, (2) your Student ID or Social Security number, and (3) course information.

By FAX: Available to anyone paying by credit card (MasterCard, Visa, and Discover). Complete the registration and mail-in charge form and FAX it to 743-2318, Attention: Continuing Education.

EMPLOYER PAYING TUITION? We will gladly bill your firm if authorized to do so. A letter mailed or FAXed to us on your company’s letterhead authorizing SUNY Adirondack to bill the company must be included with the registration material.
