 SUNY Adirondack Continuing Education is committed to the seniors and youngsters in our community, and we've expanded the courses we offer seniors and youngsters to prove it. See below for a brief look at what we offer. Or for details, view our current catalog.

Senior Programs:

SUNY Adirondack at The Glen

Each semester The Glen at Hiland Meadows makes available to us its beautiful accommodations so we can offer courses there. Everyone who's taken a course at The Glen is delighted by the comfortable surroundings. There's plenty of parking and the staff at The Glen is very friendly and do everything possible to make all course participants feel welcome. Adult community members of all ages are welcome.

This semester the following courses are offered:  Bridge Part 1, Play of the Hand, Getting and Staying Healthy Through the Aging Process, Lifestories:  a Memoir Writing Class, The Magic of Mosaics-Creating with Glass. See our current catalog for details (pages 25 -26).

Senior Lecture Series

This semester our Senior Lecture Series will take place on the following four Tuesdays: April 17, 24 and May 1, 8. For details, see our current catalog (page 26).

Youth Programs:

Summer Enrichment (for students completing grades 3-9)

Registration begins on Wednesday, April 18. For more than 25 years each summer for three weeks in July, the SUNY Adirondack campus comes alive in a very unique way. Hundreds of children who have completed grades three through nine come to a Continuing Education program designed to supplement their traditional classroom education and provide them with a fun-filled educational experience.
