            - Use the word “and” to overlap topics (Boolean logic):  poets and interviews

Browse through copies of poetry-related magazines on the Periodicals shelves on the main floor of the Library:

“Is poetry dead?” group:

-         For general comments by a wide range of people, go to Google , click on Advanced Search and do a Phrase search for : "is poetry dead"

- You can also try finding the original articles and essays by Dana Gioia and Joseph Epstein, and try another phrase that has been used in this debate: "Who killed poetry". Try these searches in the ACC Library catalog, the EBSCO Academic Search Premier general article database, as well as Google.

 

-         To find articles, search an article database, listed above. Broaden the “dead” concept. Some ideas:

o       Poetry and literacy

o       Poetry and book* and sell*

o       Poetry and sales
