Books & Videos:                 ACC Library Web page > Finding Books > Catalog

To find books and multimedia items, search the catalog with subjects such as

Mayas

Aztecs

Indians of Mexico

Mexico and archaeology

Oaxaca

Yucatan

Mexico -- History

Mayas history

Mayas antiquities

Ethnology

Mayas - Politics and government

Archaeology maps

Excavations (Archaeology)

Mayas - Social life and customs

Maya architecture

To find books on two overlapping topics, use the Boolean search word and.

You may also use a wildcard ending to words (a technique called truncation) by replacing the end of the word with an asterisk. Examples: Maya* and antiquities, or Maya* and art* (art* finds art, artist, artwork, etc.) To find travel guides, use “guidebooks and”...the name of one of the countries.
