Full Time Students
Home Schooled Students for Full-Time Study
SUNY Adirondack welcomes home schooled students looking to supplement their home school curriculum while attending as full-time or part-time students. Please contact Sarah Linehan at 518-743-2264 for detailed information on enrollment options for home schooled students.
Students interested in full-time study following completion of IHIP regulations will need the following:
- Superintendent Letter: please contact the superintendent of schools within the district you reside. Request that the superintendent forward a letter to the Director of Admissions at SUNY Adirondack indicating the following:
(Student’s Name) has successfully completed an IHIP (Individualized Home Instruction Plan) in accordance with section 100.10 of the regulations of the NYS Commissioner of Education.

Application Process For Full-Time Study
Students can apply on-line or request a paper application by calling the Admissions Office at 518-743-2264.
All applicants must furnish an official high school transcript (in a sealed envelope from the high school) or a copy of a GED with test scores.
* If you have already applied to SUNY Adirondack in the past, please contact the Admissions Office before continuing.
If you are applying on-line, please submit your application and $35 application fee electronically.
If you are completing a paper application, paper applications must be accompanied by the $35 non-refundable application fee. The payment must be made by Check or Money Order payable to SUNY Adirondack.
