Women's Volleyball

The intercollegiate athletic program at SUNY Adirondack is designed to provide opportunities for our students who wish to participate in certain sport activities and who desire to represent the college in competition with other collegiate institutions. 

Our athletic program is affiliated with the Mountain Valley Collegiate Conference (10 colleges) on the local level and the National Junior College Association on regional and National level.

Our Timberwolves volleyball team is one of the powerhouse teams in the conference as well as in NJCAA Region III.  The volleyball team has won seven conference champions and nine conference runner ups since volleyball conference stared in 1982.  Most recently, Timeberwolves won 2011 Conference Champion.  Numerous student athletes and coaches from the volleyball program were named “Player of the Year” “All region Team” “All conference Team” and “Athlete of the Year” at SUNY ADK”.   Most recently, Sara Anderson, Mountain Valley Colligiate Conference - Player of the Year (2011).  Three Timberwolves players were named All Conference Team (2011): Sara Anderson, Lauren Brown and Karly Daly.  Other "Player of the Year" recipients are:  Lindsay Holden (2010), Megan Lemary (2008), Michelle Smith (2006), Lindsay Sloan (2004), Nastassia Wescott (2003).
