I I - 17-1909 James Mead willed property to Julia [Anderson] Mead
3-3-1913  book 126, page 72 Julia Mead sold to William Rice & Eugene Sansouci
6-19-1914 book 129, page 179 William H. and Emma Rice & Eugene and Aurelia Sansouci sold to Eugene Sansouci. Apparently they are dividing up the lot they bought on the comer of Elm Street and Bacon Street from Julia Mead and are buying each other out. One deed states William Rice sold his part for $1.00. It seems they took some footage from the easterly portion of the corner lot and added it to a small lot that was 17 Bacon Street.
6-19-1914  book 129, page 180 William and Emma Rice & Eugene and Aurelia Sansouci sold to William Rice.
2-19-1915  book 130, page 504 William and Emma Rice sold to Charles and Bessie Jacobie.
11-17-1977  book 560, page 283 Bessie Jacobie had died and willed her share of the property to her husband, Charles Jacobie. Charles Jacobie died and willed the property to Edna S. Tofte.
7-25-1989   book 763, page 221 Edna S. Tofte sold to G. Nelson and Eleda W. Lowe.
3-28-1994  book 914, page 274 G. Nelson and Eleda W. Lowe sold to Bella M. and William L. Doolittle III.

The first time the Glens Falls City Directory lists a resident at 17 Bacon Street is 1918.
