ACC Nursing Students To Be Honored at Pinning Ceremony Jan. 4 (Dec. 22, 2009) -
QUEENSBURY, NY – The Adirondack Community College Nursing Program will honor 40 nursing graduates in a pinning ceremony Mon., Jan. 4 at the college.
The traditional pinning ceremony will be held at 4 p.m. in the ACC Theater. The public is invited.
The ceremony, in which the students receive commemorative pins, recognizes those who graduated from student nurses to graduate nurses and symbolizes the care the students have for their patients.
Susan Bogardus, a nursing adjunct at ACC, will be the featured speaker. ACC President Dr. Ronald C. Heacock will also address the graduates. Student speakers will be Heather Gagliano and Christine McDonald.
