Recipe for College Success at ACC March 15 (Jan. 08, 2010) -

QUEENSBURY, NY – Adirondack Community College will host Recipe for College Success, a day long conference for students with disabilities, their parents, educators, school counselors and agency representatives, on Monday, March 15, in Dearlove Hall on the ACC campus.

The conference will address such issues as self advocacy skills for students, accessing accommodative services, navigating the college admissions process, using assistive technology, financial aid, and the role of Vocational and Educational Services for Individuals with Disabilities (VESID) in helping students make the transition to college.

The conference is co sponsored by ACC, SUNY Potsdam, Warren Saratoga Washington Hamilton Essex BOCES, VESID and the Eastern New York Transition Coordination Site.
