ACC Culinary Arts Students Serving Public Lunches & Dinners This Spring (Feb. 03, 2010) -

QUEENSBURY - Culinary Arts students at Adirondack Community College will be offering the public a couple of dining options this semester.

Students will be offering luncheons to the community beginning Thursday, February 11, from 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Randles Conference Center dining room in the ACC Student Center.

Lunch will be served every Thursday except March 18.

The luncheon menu will consist of a three-course meal including appetizer, entree, dessert and beverages.

The lunch schedule runs through April 29.

Culinary Arts students will once again offer American Regional Cuisine dinners to the public Wednesdays from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in Randles Conference Center beginning February 24. The dinners conclude on May 5.

Each week students will showcase entrees from selected regions. The schedule of regional cuisine includes: New England and Mid-Atlantic, February 24; Deep South and Floribbean, March 3; Cajun and Creole, March 10; Heartland and Central Plains, March 24; Southwest and Tex/Mex, March 31; Rocky Mountains, April 7; California, April 14; Pacific Northwest, April 28; Hawaii/Alaska, May 5.

No dinners will be served March 17 or April 21.
