Graphic Designer

Part-Time (20-25 hours per week)

SUMMARY: The Marketing & Communications Graphic Designer is an assisting role within the office of Marketing & Communications, requiring a proactive and technologically savvy individual to help promote the College’s story through design for digital and print publication. The Graphic Designer would assist the Creative Director and the Director of Marketing and Communications.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conceptualize, design and produce new marketing material
  • Support the managerial team 
  • Conceptualize and produce online content for website, e-mail and social media
  • Manage design related tasks
  • Maintain brand consistency throughout work
  • Offer new ideas and concepts clearly and effectively 
  • Proofread following AP Style guidelines
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite: Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  

Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, communications, journalism, media arts, or related field. Two or more years of work experience in marketing or public relations, preferably in a design role. Must possess strong design, writing, and creative skills.

SALARY RANGE: $23- $25 per hour ($23,000 budget)
