Gallery: Student Senate presents President Duffy with Giant Adirondack Chair as Inauguration Gift

The SUNY Adirondack Student Senate today (April 10) presented college president Dr. Kristine Duffy with a giant Adirondack chair as a gift on the eve of Dr. Duffy's inauguration as SUNY Adirondack's seventh college president.

The 12-foot-tall chair was constructed out of Eastern white pine. It was purchased through The Wood Carte in Queensbury and was constructed by an Adirondack builder in Jay, NY. The chair will be located in the roundabout on the main campus in Queensbury and will be visible to visitors as they enter the college from Bay Road.

Congratulations, Dr. Duffy!
