Linda Urban to appear at SUNY Adirondack Writers Project May 5

(QUEENSBURY, NY - April 8, 2014) – The SUNY Adirondack Writers Project has announced its schedule of events for the Spring 2014 semester.

The remaining schedule includes:

• Linda Urban - Monday, May 5, at 1 p.m. at SUNY Adirondack’s Wilton Center.

Admission for this event is free and the public is invited.


Linda Urban

Linda Urban is the author of the award-winning middle grade novels A Crooked Kind of Perfect and Hound Dog True and the Children’s Choice picture book finalist Mouse Was Mad. Her most recent novel, The Center of Everything has received three starred reviews and was called “homey, funny, and Thornton Wilderish” by the New York Times.

The Writers Project provides SUNY Adirondack students and residents of Warren, Washington and Saratoga counties with exposure to nationally renowned writers, provides up-and-coming writers with a venue for reading, and supports fledgling writers with workshops and writers’ retreats.

The Writers Project is made possible with assistance from the Faculty Student Association of SUNY Adirondack, the SUNY Adirondack Foundation, the SUNY Adirondack English Division, and SUNY Adirondack with initial funding and support from the National Endowment for the Arts.
