SUNY Adirondack appoints Lucas Meyers Communications Director
(QUEENSBURY, NY – July 11, 2014) – Lucas Meyers of Saratoga Springs has been appointed Communications Director at SUNY Adirondack.
Meyers most recently served as senior marketing manager at McMurry/TMG, a content marketing agency based in New York, NY, with offices in Saratoga Springs.

Meyers earned a B.A. in communications with a minor in graphic design from SUNY Geneseo and was a member of the Lambda Pi Eta Communications Honor Society.
“We are excited to have someone of Luke’s caliber to lead our communications and public relations efforts,” said Dr. Kristine Duffy, president of SUNY Adirondack. “We will expand our on-line marketing efforts under his direction to share our successes and promote the value of a SUNY Adirondack education to a broader student base.”
Meyers’ new duties will include assisting in the development and execution of an integrated communications plan for the college; overseeing internal and external public relations; developing content for all official college publications and web pages; coordinating all online marketing initiatives, including SUNY Adirondack’s social media presence; updating and maintaining the college’s website; and supporting the SUNY Adirondack Foundation in the coordination of marketing and public relations efforts for friend- and fund-raising activities.
With locations in Queensbury, Wilton, and online, SUNY Adirondack is a growing campus of the nation’s largest university, the State University of New York. SUNY Adirondack serves students via its credit and Continuing Education programs.
