SUNY Adirondack appoints Mindy Wilson Director of Human Resources & Payroll

(QUEENSBURY, NY – July 23, 2014) – Mindy Wilson of Fort Ann has been appointed Director of Human Resources and Payroll at SUNY Adirondack.

Wilson most recently served as Director of Human Resources at Community, Work & Independence (CWI) in Glens Falls.

Wilson earned a bachelor’s degree in organizational leadership from the College of St. Joseph in Rutland and is an alumna of SUNY Adirondack.

“Mindy’s extensive experience in human resources and payroll will assist us in recruiting, supporting, and retaining the faculty and staff we require to meet the needs of students,” said Dr. Kristine Duffy, president of SUNY Adirondack.

Wilson currently serves as the president of the board of directors for Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Southern Adirondacks and is a member of the Warren-Washington Counties Homeless Youth Coalition and the Tri-County United Way Allocation Advisory Committee. In 2012, she was selected as one of the Glens Falls Post-Star’s “20 Under 40” honorees.

Wilson’s new duties will include serving as the college’s Affirmative Action Officer and directing talent acquisition, new hire orientation, compensation and benefits administration, performance management, regulatory compliance, contract negotiations and administration, labor/management relations, payroll, faculty and staff achievement recognition, payroll and HR information systems, and organizational and professional development.
