SUNY Adirondack Foundation to host Lyman A. Beeman Jr. Golf Tournament at Hiland GC May 30
(QUEENSBURY, NY – May 2, 2014) – The SUNY Adirondack Foundation will host the Lyman A. Beeman, Jr. Golf Tournament on Friday, May 30, at Hiland Golf Club, Haviland Road, Queensbury. Jaeger & Flynn Associates and Citizens Bank are the lead sponsors of this 25th annual tournament. Proceeds from this event support student scholarships at SUNY Adirondack.
The entry fee is $150 per player or $600 for a foursome. The golf outing includes a short game clinic with SUNY Adirondack alumnus and PGA Head Professional Steve Mann at 11:00am, BBQ lunch, dinner and awards reception. The Lake George Distilling Company will host a drink tasting.
Hole-in-one prizes include a 2014 Harley-Davidson Motorcycle sponsored by McDermott’s Harley-Davidson, 2015 trip to the Masters Golf Tournament sponsored by The Adirondack Trust Company, 2014 Buick Encore sponsored by Della Auto Group, and 7-night golf vacation package to Palm Springs, CA sponsored by KEENA.
Registration begins at 11:00 a.m., shotgun start is 12:30 p.m. The format is a four-person scramble. Prizes are awarded for low gross and the top three low net scores. The deadline to enter is Friday, May 23.
