Adjunct Instructor (American Sign Language)

DEPARTMENT: Humanities Division

RESPONSIBILITIES: SUNY Adirondack seeks a qualified candidate to teach upper and lower level American Sign Language courses in a classroom setting as a part time position. Classes are taught in the morning, afternoon and evening.

REQUIREMENTS: Candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline from an accredited institution. Master’s degree and/or ASL teacher certification preferred. Professional teaching experience and/or relevant work experience with Deaf culture, human services or interpreting services is required.
