Speech Sph 111 Speech Lecture: 3 hrs. Credit: 3 hrs. A study and practice of effective public speaking. Sph 114 Voice and Diction Lecture: 3 hrs. Credit: 3 hrs. A study of the basic techniques of vocal production and delivery with emphasis on the individual speaking voice. Sph 115 Interpretative Speech Lecture: 3 hrs. Credit: 3 hrs. The development of interpretation and delivery of various written texts including poetry, prose, and broadcast continuity. Prerequisites: SPH 114.
