Equipment

A wide variety of equipment is available for campus use:

  • 35 mm cameras
  • digital cameras
  • Polaroid cameras
  • slide projectors
  • laser disc player
  • phono turntable
  • equipment for the hearing impaired
  • TV monitors
  • DVD/VCR players
  • teleconferencing equipment

Multimedia Classrooms:

ITS is responsible for providing and maintaining multimedia equipment in the classrooms. Every classroom is equipped with an overhead transparency projector and screen. Additionally, there are two types of permanent classroom setups.

TV classrooms:

  • TV monitor
  • DVD/VCR.

"Smart" classrooms:

The standard "smart" classroom setup consists of the following:

  • multimedia projector
  • sound system
  • instructor's station
    • computer
    • DVD/VCR
    • document camera

Math-ready "smart" classrooms are also equipped with a TI presenter.

Lecture halls may have a variety of equipment in addition to the standard "smart" classroom setup.
