Black and white or color transparencies can be manufactured from start to finish, or faculty may elect to produce the transparencies themselves via presentation software on their office computer. Files can then be delivered or e-mailed to ITS staff for printing and mounting. |
| Microsoft PowerPoint Support |
ITS provides telephone, e-mail, and in-person support on PowerPoint software. Other support includes converting a presentation to video or transparencies, and providing computer projection and scan conversion capabilities. |
| Sound Systems |
Customized sound system support service is available for instructional or special events. |
| Assistance for the Hearing Impaired |
A specialized system that assists the hearing impaired is available for classroom use or special events. |
| Off-air TV Program Acquisition |
Instructional video tapes can be made from satellite, off-air and cable TV transmission. Tapes are held for faculty preview. When programs are chosen for purchase, the ACC Collection Development Librarian will obtain legal licensing and program rights. Programs will then be included in the library's collection. |
| TV Production |
Faculty and staff may request that a class or event be videotaped. |
| Teleconferencing |
ITS assists faculty in organizing and implementing teleconferences for classes or professional groups. Most rooms on campus are teleconference capable. |
