What is The Adirondack Community College Child Care Center?
The Adirondack Community College Child Care Center (AC5) is a special place on our campus where groups of children are often seen swinging, sliding, singing and playing. The Center offers parents an opportunity to come back to school with peace of mind, knowing their children are safe and well-cared for while they are in classes or studying.
What kind of programs does the Center provide for my child?
The Center is a partnership of the Faculty Student Association (FSA) of Adirondack Community College and Warren County Head Start. We are committed to giving your child the best quality care possible. We believe that each child is unique and deserves to be accepted as such. We aim to provide a warm, relaxed, extended-family atmosphere, a home away from home. A balance of active and quiet activities will be provided.
Is the Center accredited?
In May 1995, the Center was accredited by the National Academy of Early Childhood Programs. This means that the Center has undergone comprehensive self-study and external professional review, and has been found to be in compliance with the Academy's strict criteria.
