If you're already an ACC student . . .

Are you a matriculating ACC student?

If you haven't already applied for formal admission to ACC, you must apply for admission

  • If you seek financial aid.
  • If you seek to enroll for 12 credits or more this semester.
  • If you are a part-time ACC student and the number of credits you sign up for this semester will give you more than 18 credits total at ACC.

Students attending part-time prior to the 2000-2001 academic year may be eligible to use a modified admissions process. If you think you fall into this category, check on your status with the ACC Admissions Office: (518) 743-2264.

If you plan to take only Internet College courses:

  • First, consult your academic advisor. If you don't already have an academic advisor, contact ACC Online advisor Doug Gaulin about the courses you plan to take. You may call him at (518) 743-2253 or e-mail him at gaulind@sunyacc.edu.
  • Then, use the ACC Online registration form to sign up for courses. If you are claiming New York State residency, you also need to submit a new notarized Certificate of Residency if the one in ACC's files is more than 12 months old.

If you plan to take campus-based courses as well as Internet College courses:

  • Consult your academic advisor about the courses you plan to take, including online courses.
  • Then sign up for all your courses on campus with ACC's Registrar during the registration period or use the ACC Online registration form. If you are claiming New York State residency, you also need to submit a new notarized Certificate of Residency if the one in ACC's files is more than 12 months old.

If you're a student at another college . . .

If you want to apply an ACC course toward a degree at another college:

  • First, check with your own college to make sure it will accept the ACC course.
  • Then, use the ACC Online registration form to sign up for ACC courses. If you are claiming New York State residency, you need to send ACC a notarized Certificate of Residency along with your registration form.
  • When you complete your ACC course, ask the ACC Registrar's Office to send a transcript of the course and grade to your college.

If you'd like to be admitted to ACC . . .

Welcome to ACC! Complete the online Admissions Application Process.

  • Next, consult your ACC Online advisor Doug Gaulin about the courses you plan to take. You may call him at (518) 743-2253 or e-mail him at gaulind@sunyacc.edu.
