Getting Technical Help

For questions about course materials or other academic matters, contact your instructor. If your instructor cannot help you, contact the division chair. Instructions for contacting your instructor are in the "Contact Information" document in the Course Information area of your online course. Contact information for division chairs is located on the Your Support Team page.

SUNY Learning Network Help Desk

ACC online courses - fully online, hybrid courses, and Web-supported courses - are supported by the SUNY Learning Network Help Desk.

If you encounter technical problems in your course please follow these steps:

  1. Call or e-mail the SLN Student Help Desk immediately. Be specific. Identify:
    • your college, the course code and section number (e.g., Adirondack, ENG101, section 34001SLN)
    • the module number and/or name
    • the name of the section within the module
    • the subject heading of the page
    • the exact problem you are having.

    Saturday, 1 PM - 5 PM

    Check the SLN Help Desk page for hours during holiday periods.


  2. Pose your problem in the "Ask a Question Area" of the Module. One of your classmates may be able to help you. Also, this lets your instructor know that you are having technical problems.

Please do not call the ACC Student Computing Help Desk with questions about SLN courses. Call or e-mail the SLN Help Desk.

Student Computing Open Lab Hours

Computers are available for student use on the main ACC campus and Wilton site:

Queensbury Campus:

Monday - Thursday, 8 AM to 10 PM
Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM
Closed Saturdays & Holidays
Sunday, 1 PM to 9 PM

Intersession and holiday hours may vary.

Wilton Site:

Monday -Thursday:
8 AM to 1 PM
3 PM to 10 PM
