Visual Art at Adirondack Community College

The Studio Arts Area at ACC offers a variety of courses in drawing, painting, printmaking and three dimensional design.  Classroom facilities are open daily M-F and are available for student use outside of class time, which is encouraged by the art faculty.  The studio area is in close proximity to the Visual Arts Gallery, which facilitates dialogue about works by professional artists in connection to the content of the studio classes.  A working environment with a sense of students being a part of a community is continually reinforced by dialogue about art, both professionally and student produced.
