OASIS Center Mission Statement

The mission of the OASIS Center at Adirondack Community College is to support the College in providing outstanding services that assist students in reaching their educational, career, and life goals. We will accomplish our mission through providing accurate placement testing in Math and English coursework, outstanding academic advisement to all students, a strong first-year experience with emphasis on the Freshman Seminar, training and development for Academic Advisors and Freshman Seminar instructors, and developing a body of knowledge through empirical data relating to student success and retention.
