Introduction to Word
Word allows you to create, edit and print attractive documents. Word is a full strength word processing application that is widely used in schools and businesses. In this workshop we will cover printing, saving, moving text, margins, spacing, spell checking, and justification.

Intermediate Word
Now that you know the basics, learn how to use headers, footers, page numbering, tables and specialized character sets.

Microsoft OneNote
With OneNote you can use the computer to take and organize your notes for all your classes. OneNote even helps you save your URL's when you are using online sources to set up a paper. Learn how you can use OneNote for all your note taking.

Introduction to PowerPoint
PowerPoint has multimedia capabilities. It mixes print, computer generated charts, graphics, sound, animation, and short video clips. In this first workshop, learn how to make a slide show, use and edit the different types of slides, run a slide show, and print.

Intermediate PowerPoint
Learn to use the multimedia capabilities of PowerPoint by adding sound, video, transitions, animations, and advanced printing.

Windows XP
Open, close and switch between programs. Learn the parts of a window, the parts of the desktop, and how to move and resize windows. Come and learn how to use Windows XP to make your computer work easier.

Introduction to Apple OS X
Learn the basics of getting around on an Apple eMac. Open files, save files, switch between programs, get started using OS X with this workshop.

File Management
Learn how to manage directories and files. Students will learn to create directories and subdirectories and recognize windows file management icons.

E-Mail
Students will learn to access their campus internet e-mail accounts and be taught the basics, such as opening and sending messages and attaching files.

Introduction to SLN
Students will learn how to login and go to their classes, use a threaded discussion, save, copy, paste, attach and submit their assignments.
