Welcome to the ninth annual Adirondack Technology Showcase. The Adirondack Technology Showcase will be held on Tuesday, March 11, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Adirondack Community College's (ACC) Scoville Learning Center. Admission is free and the public is invited.
Around 500 students and teachers from approximately 30 area school districts will show how their districts use computer technology to enhance the learning experiences of their students. Students from K-12th grade will present projects at the Showcase.
Local presenters will speak about how technology is used in their fields. Representatives from a variety of technology companies will discuss upcoming products and software, and how their companies are preparing for the challenges of the future. Company representatives will also share information with the students on what academic preparation they need to obtain careers in their chosen fields.
ACC representatives will also be on hand to answer questions regarding ACC technical degree programs including communications and media arts/graphic design, radio and television broadcasting, and computer networking.
