E-Mail

Adirondack Community College automatically assigns free campus e-mail accounts and personal web space to all students registered in credit-bearing courses. Your e-mail address is accountname@sunyacc.edu. To find your account name and password, visit the Student Portal at www.sunyacc.edu/page571. Accounts are kept active as long as a student remains continuously enrolled at the college. You will need your social security number to obtain your account.

Students should be aware that their campus e-mail account is considered their official means of communication in regard to all business pertaining to ACC. YOU, the student, are responsible for checking this account frequently and consistently and you will be held responsible for knowing and understanding any college communications in this account. If a student opts to forward mail from this official account to an outside service provider, they do so at their own risk.

Banner System @ ACC

Banner provides web-based access to class schedules, course registration, grades, academic transcripts, financial aid, and other account information. Understanding this system will be essential to your success here at ACC. To access Banner: ACC web site �� Inside ACC �� Student Portal �� Banner@ACC.

Once in Banner, you will need your Banner ID and PIN numbers. Your Banner ID begins with a 5 and can be found on your course schedule or bill. If you do not have access to your Banner ID, please contact the Registrar�fs Office in Warren Hall for additional information.

Note: Your initial Banner PIN will be your date of birth in the MMDDYY format. You will be prompted to change your initial PIN when you log in for the first time. A new PIN will contain 6 numbers in random order selected by you.
