Student Services

Welcome to the Student Services Section of the College! As the title suggests, Student Services provides needed information and resources to enhance your success.

Student Services encompasses seven (7) different areas. The OASIS Center (Office of Academic Student Instructional Support) is the location for placement testing, academic advisement issues and retention of students. The Office of Career Services provides information on your major as it relates to careers and college transfer, as well as The Place to find a part-time or full-time job. The Counseling Office coordinates new student course selection, as well as provides individualized counseling for both academic and personal matters. Upward Bound is a Federal Grant Program that targets select high school students for eventual college enrollment. The Office of Accessibility Services focuses on students with either a learning or a physical disability and assists in providing appropriate accommodations. These five areas are all located in Warren Hall.

The Director of Athletics is located in the Gym. ACC offers a wide variety of men's and women's sports to include soccer, volleyball, basketball, baseball, golf, bowling, and softball. Also, you may want to check out the intramural programs that are offered at midday on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

The Student Center (across from Warren Hall) is where the seventh area, Student Life, is located. This office coordinates many campus activities including student clubs, student government, guest speakers and other entertainers. Also in this building, you will find the Faculty Student Association (FSA) Office, College Bookstore, Cafeteria and Student Lounge.

As the saying goes, .you get as much from college as you put into it.. please stop by, check us out, and use these services!

If I can be of assistance, please call (518) 743-2278 or email durantb@sunyacc.edu.
