Request for Alterations in Multi-Media Classroom
Educational Technology staff members provide technical support for all multi-media classroom equipment. When equipment is installed the Director consults with faculty who are currently assigned to teach in that space as well as the responsible division chairs to create a plan that is suitable to the majority.
As technology and pedagogy change it may become necessary to modify room setups to adjust for those needs. Even if room alterations do not include replacement or new equipment a formal request must be completed to assure that appropriate approvals have been received. All room alterations equate to an expense to the college and must be appropriately documented and approved.
When alterations of any type are requested the attached form must be completed and submitted with the division’s budget request. Educational Technology staff will work with divisions requesting changes and will provide budget numbers necessary to complete the request. If there are installation charges as well as equipment costs, all numbers should be included with the division’s budget request.
