Why did you choose a career in a technical field?
I have loved radio and television broadcasting since I was a child. As soon as I got involved with ACC's radio station (WGFR 92.7), I knew radio programming and management was what I wanted to do.

What do you like most about your college major?
Being chosen as ACC's Program Director for the 2001-2002 academic year. I enjoy all aspects of radio. I enjoy helping run the station as well as training DJ's and learning about the up and coming technology available.

Please share any Additional information that you feel might be helpful to women considering a technical career:
I would recommend to anyone entering radio and television to get as much hands on experience as possible. I would also say; "never give up and to set goals and work until you achieve them to the best of your ability."Failure with effort is acceptable, Failure without effort is unacceptable."
