Seasoned is a full-service fine-dining restaurant in downtown Glens Falls. Students learn the ins and outs of the restaurant and hospitality industries by working in all roles — hostess, waitstaff, bartender, etc. In the kitchen and classrooms, they learn the art of creating delectable cuisine.

Hands-on education

Seasoned is SUNY Adirondack’s student-run restaurant, located in the SUNY Adirondack Culinary Arts Center at 14 Hudson Ave. in downtown Glens Falls.

SUNY Adirondack's Culinary students are trained by the college's highly skilled faculty, then put what they learn into action at the state-of-the-artist learning center and restaurant.

Seasoned will offer lunch and dinner service Wednesdays and Thursdays from Feb. 24 through April 15.

Lunch service will feature students from the Basic Food Prep 2 class preparing and serving a classic modernized menu created by Chef Matthew Bolton. The three-course gourmet meal in a casual setting will include an appetizer, entrée, dessert and beverages (soda, tea or coffee). Dinner service will feature international cuisine planned by culinary students under the consultation of Bolton. The five-course gourmet meal in a fine-dining setting will include an amuse, appetizer, intermezzo, entrée, dessert and beverages (soda, tea or coffee).

Grab-and-go lunches and bakeshop items will be available from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Tuesdays. Customers can choose from an a la carte menu of soups, salads and sandwiches for takeout and delicatessen-style sit-down lunches. Items from the college’s baking classes also will be available for purchase. No waitstaff or alcoholic beverages will be available during Tuesday lunch.
