Early Scholars Honor Academy

“I needed a change of pace. SUNY Adirondack allowed me to test myself, to challenge myself.”

— Skyler Scott, past Early College Honors Academy student

Available to students in their senior year, the highly competitive Early Scholars Honor Academy program features a scholarship of $1,500 ($750/semester) and requires students take a minimum of 12 credits per academic year, along with an honors research project in collaboration with current SUNY Adirondack Phi Theta Kappa members and advisors. A minimum of a 90 HSGPA or a 3.7 Quarterly Report GPA, along with recommendations from district personnel, is required.

Early Scholars Honor Academy students take courses at SUNY Adirondack’s campus in Queensbury, at SUNY Adirondack Saratoga or online. Homeschooled and district students can choose courses for dual high school/college credit or pick courses that interest them and align with future career goals.
