Customized Training
SUNY Adirondack Continuing Education’s approach to customized training allows us to deliver high-quality classes and events to move businesses and communities forward. We will facilitate the process, manage all details, tailor training and deliver results — from needs assessment through program evaluation and sustainability.

SUNY Workforce Development Grant Program
The Office of Continuing Education administers the SUNY Workforce Development grant program, which is designed to assist companies in New York State with staff training and development costs. Employers are encouraged to apply for this annual program (pending funding availability).

Online Career Training Programs
Our online programs can start you on a path to an in-demand profession or help advance your current career with industry certification. You may begin these programs at any time and learn at your own pace. Upon successful completion of all coursework, you will receive a certificate of completion. All materials are included in the program fees. Each course has an instructor assigned to answer questions and solve student problems.

Computer & Software Training
The Office of Continuing Education offers computer training for companies. Courses may be offered in a classroom environment or in a group training customized to serve our local businesses — online or in person.
Classroom environment: Courses may be scheduled based on community interest throughout the year. Once we have sufficient demand to run a particular course, it may be offered.
Small and large group training: Customized group training is available for employers or agencies seeking staff development. Employers specify the instruction needed. Small- and large-group training is available; rates are based on group size and length of instruction. Customized manuals are also available as training aids.

- Adobe Software (Acrobat, Photoshop)
- QuickBooks
- Microsoft Office Suite (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Publisher, Word)
