SUNY Adirondack offers a two-year Associate of Science (AS) degree in Engineering Science, the integration of mathematical, engineering, and scientific principles to build structures and improve processes. Engineering Science is a broad field allowing for specialized concentrations in multiple disciplines to support industries around the world.

Program Overview

Engineering Science teaches that engineering techniques shape progress. This field not only entails math and science courses but also teaches the analytical and problem-solving skills needed to work in a fast-paced and constantly evolving industry. Students will begin their studies with foundational courses in engineering physics, calculus and chemistry.

As part of SUNY Adirondack’s program, specialized courses in engineering statics, dynamics, circuit analysis and other electives round out a program that is valued by the career-driven student.

SUNY Adirondack offers small class sizes and access to dedicated faculty who have top degrees and diverse field experience (including with the U.S. Navy) in engineering. This program is completely compatible with national undergraduate programs and allows for guaranteed junior transfer to a four-year degree.
