Enroll and Register for Classes

CURRENT STUDENTS

Current SUNY Adirondack students receive priority registration, both online through Banner and in person at the Registrar’s Office. Priority is given by accumulated credits (not including the current semester).

Current Students should contact the Academic Advisement/Student Success Office for Advisement and Registration Information.

NEW STUDENTS

New First-Year and Transfer students will register for classes at Accepted Student Day. After the new student has attended an Accepted Student Day, they should contact the Academic Advisement/Student Success Office for Advisement and Registration Information.

RETURNING STUDENTS

Open Registration for Returning students (previously enrolled students with at least one semester break in attendance) wishing to return to SUNY Adirondack may register after Priority Registration. Returning students must complete a Returning Student Form available at the Student Success Center.

NON-MATRICULATED STUDENTS

Non-matriculated students can earn a maximum of 36 credit hours at SUNY Adirondack prior to matriculation. Students nearing the 36 credit hour limit should contact the Admissions Office to learn more about matriculation.  Information about matriculation is available in the College Catalog at; http://catalog.sunyacc.edu/admissions/quickguide. Additionally, Non-matriculated students are not eligible to receive financial aid (i.e. Pell, TAP, Loans, etc.). Non-Matriculated Students receive grades and GPA calculations but do not receive an academic standing or academic honors.  

CROSS REGISTERED STUDENTS

Students looking to cross register at SUNY Adirondack from another SUNY campus via the SUNY Cross Registration process, should review the SUNY Student Mobility site prior to submitting Non-Matriculated Student information.

SUNY Adirondack students, looking to take a class at another SUNY campus via the SUNY Cross Registration process, should contact the Academic Advisement/Student Success Office for Advisement and Registration Information.
