How you will receive Supplemental Support under American Rescue Plan Act disbursement

American Rescue Plan Act funds will be issued in two ways:

For more information about direct deposit, go to https://www.sunyacc.edu/refunds. Please allow seven to 10 business days for direct deposited funds to be available in the designated account.

TIP: Sign up for direct deposit through Nelnet. Log into your Self-Service Banner account, and go to the "Student" tab, select "Student Account" from the list, and then select "Set-Up Payment Plan." This will redirect you to the Nelnet web portal. After setting up your profile, you can select "Manage Refunds" in your Nelnet account to set-up a direct deposit.

2.     For students not signed up for direct deposit, a check will be mailed to the permanent address listed in the Banner System within 14 business days.

Repayment

You do not have to repay Federal Emergency relief funds. The Supplemental Support under the American Rescue Plan Act Emergency Grant funds are designed to be a grant (otherwise called gift aid) and are not a loan.

Impact on existing financial aid plans

This funding will not reduce your financial aid. It does not negate nor replace financial aid.
