Ways to Give

Your gift is needed now more than ever to support our students during these unprecedented times.

Please consider making an unrestricted gift to the SUNY Adirondack Fund, which provides immediate resources to assist our students this semester and beyond.

How You Can Contribute to the SUNY Adirondack Foundation

SUNY Adirondack Fund

The SUNY Adirondack Foundation conducts an Annual Giving Campaign which runs throughout the Foundation's July 1-June 30 fiscal year. The SUNY Adirondack Fund provides resources for our students' and the campus' most critical needs. Contributions are tax deductible and, unless otherwise designated, allocated to where the need is greatest.

Scholarships

The Foundation manages the endowed and restricted funds for many individuals and organizations who establish a scholarship for our students.  Scholarships are offered for every program and to recognize the achievements of our deserving students.  Click here for a list of current scholarship opportunities.

Donations to current scholarship funds are accepted by mail or using a secure credit card server with a form on this page.  Please use the comment section to specify the scholarship name.

To discuss establishing a scholarship, please contact the Foundation at 518.743-2255 to discuss your intention.

Memorial Giving

Contributions made in the memory of a deceased member of SUNY Adirondack faculty and staff, friend, relative or SUNY Adirondack alumnus honor their legacy and hard work.  Donations can be made using the "Make a Gift" form on this page.  Use the Comment section to indicate your wishes.  Donations will go to the annual fund unless a named scholarship has been established.

Matching Gifts

The SUNY Adirondack Foundation annually receives contributions from individuals and alumni whose companies match these contributions with a gift. If your or your spouse's employer has a matching gift program, please request a matching gift form and mail the completed form to the SUNY Adirondack Foundation along with your contribution.

Planned Giving

The Garnet Society is comprised of individuals who have made provisions in their wills for the SUNY Adirondack Foundation through planned giving, transfers of stocks and securities, and personal property. The Foundation staff welcomes the opportunity to help you and your advisors explore options to satisfy your philanthropic objectives and complement your financial and tax goals. A bequest is very easy to arrange, can be any amount, and donors can remain anonymous.

The State University of New York's Research Foundation has developed an on-line guide, The Research Foundation's Guide to Giving, which can provide you with more detailed information about other ways to contribute. This guide can be accessed through the Research Foundation's web site: www.rfsuny.org under "Giving to SUNY."  We partner with the Research Foundation to provide opportunities to establish Charitable Remainder Trusts.
