Liberal Arts Humanities & Social Sciences: Adolescence Education Social Studies Concentration

SUNY Adirondack offers a two-year Associate in Arts (AA) degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences: Humanities and Social Science, with a concentration in Adolescence Education Social Studies. This program will provide students with appropriate transfer coursework options while meeting the current Liberal Arts: Humanities and Social Science requirements. The program is a complement to the Early Childhood/Childhood Concentration program in Education, offering topic specific courses to support transfer pathways into a program in Adolescence Education with a focus on Social Studies. Recommended high school preparation: four years of English, three years of social studies, two years of science and two years of math, preferably college preparatory mathematics.
