Biography
Cornelius Gilbert, Ph.D., has deep experience within the higher education enterprise and served as one of our nation's few Black males within the professoriate. Early in his career, he served as an academic advisor for undecided students, and is now SUNY Adirondack's Chief Diversity Officer and Title IX coordinator.
Education
Bachelor of Arts degrees in History and Afro-American Studies, University of Wisconsin-Madison; Master of Arts degree in Afro-American Studies, University of Wisconsin-Madison; Doctorate in Education with a focus on History, University of Wisconsin-Madison
Hobbies and interests
Dr. Gilbert is a member of the nation's oldest Black collegiate fraternal organization, Alpha Phi Alpha, and has interest in crypotozoology, running, books and baseball.
