(QUEENSBURY, NY – May 8, 2014) – The SUNY Adirondack Health Sciences Division will host a nursing pinning ceremony on Wednesday, May 14, at 6 p.m. in the SUNY Adirondack Theater.
The public is invited and refreshments will be served.
Congratulatory remarks will be given by Brian Durant, Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs at SUNY Adirondack.
Student speakers will be Jean Aliperti and Lori Zinter. Several students will be honored for academic excellence, clinical excellence and leadership.
Forty-five students will receive commemorative pins. The pinning ceremony recognizes those who will graduate from student nurse to graduate nurse, and the pins symbolize the care the students have for their patients.
