SUNY Adirondack student Jennifer Carlone honored in 2014 Best of SUNY Student Art Exhibition
(QUEENSBURY, NY – June 12, 2014) – Jennifer Carlone of Ballston Spa, a student at SUNY Adirondack, was awarded an Honorable Mention award of $500 for her submission “Slow Decay” as part of the 2014 Best of SUNY Student Art Exhibition at the State Museum in Albany.

SUNY Chancellor Dr. Nancy L. Zimpher announced the winners of the exhibition at a reception June 10 at the museum.
The exhibition is on display through August 31.
The juried exhibition features work chosen by individual art departments across SUNY’s 64 campuses. The exhibition includes drawings, ceramics, paintings, sculptures, photography, printmaking, mixed media, photography sculpture and digital works.
The SUNY student art shows were initiated in 2002 to highlight talented student artists from the University’s 64 campuses.
Jennifer’s work had previously been honored at SUNY Adirondack’s Spring 2013 Annual Juried Student Art Exhibition last May.
