Girls Go STEM

The Adirondack Branch of the American University of Women and the SUNY Adirondack Office of Continuing Education will present a Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) program titled “Girls Go STEM” on May 18.

The program will be held for 100 middle school girls at the SUNY Adirondack Queensbury campus.

Students will have the opportunity to take part in hands-on workshops and learn from accomplished women in STEM-related professions. 

Female professionals and academics from SUNY Adirondack, Glens Falls National Bank, Orenco Systems Inc., Montgomery Soil and Water Conservation District, Hudson Falls School District, Finch Paper LLC and JMZ Architects and Planners will present workshops to students. JMZ President Tenée Rehm Casaccio will deliver the keynote address.
