SUNY Adirondack Culinary Arts and Culinary and Baking Arts students gain hands-on experience in Seasoned, a student-run restaurant in bustling downtown Glens Falls. Coursework is brought to life as you run every element of the restaurant — front-of-house operations, bar, service, menu planning, mixology and more.

Seasoned offers dinner Wednesday and Thursday during the college academic year.

Fall 2025 hours of operation

Seasoned serves dinner when college classes are in session. For the Fall 2025 semester, service is offered Wednedays and Thursdays, Oct. 8 through Dec. 4. No service available Nov. 26 and 27 (Thanksgiving break).

Healthy Cooking Dinners are served Wednesdays, with seatings at 5:45, 6, 6:15, 6:30 and 6:45 p.m.

Enjoy a three-course gourmet meal featuring an appetizer, entree and dessert, in a casual dining setting.

Healthy Cooking Culinary students design and implement menus using locally sourced ingredients, in accordance with nutritional guidelines established by the American Heart Association, and make accommodations for dietary restrictions under the guidance of Chef Matthew Bolton. This is an advanced culinary course introducing theories and procedures of recipe and menu modification.

The Dining Room Service classes run front-of-house operation, such as waitstaff, bartender and host.

Pricing: $30.95 plus tax; $20.95 plus tax for children ages 12 and younger

Menu Design and Flavor Pairing students prepare four-course tasting menus for local nonprofit organizations, doors open at 5:30 p.m.

Culinary Arts is a challenging degree, mixing creative flair with a keen sense of what excites the palate and eye. Studies in classic culinary cooking, preparation technique, baking, purchasing, safety and sanitation are the core of this program.

This degree provides focused in-depth instruction and practice in the fundamentals of culinary and baking arts.

Culinary certificate

SUNY Adirondack offers a professional culinary certificate geared toward immediate employment. This prepares you for effective preparation of quality meals in non-residential environments such as restaurants, hotels, schools, government facilities and more.
