GLENS FALLS, New York (Oct. 1, 2025) — SUNY Adirondack’s Culinary program is proud to announce the opening of Seasoned, its student-run fine-dining restaurant at 14 Hudson Ave., for the Fall 2025 semester.
Beginning Oct. 8, Seasoned will again offer dinner services Wednesday and Thursday when classes are in session (the restaurant is closed Nov. 26 and 27 for Thanksgiving break).
This semester, Wednesday evening dinners are prepared by the Healthy Cooking students, who design and implement menus using locally sourced ingredients and in accordance with nutritional guidelines established by the American Heart Association.
Dinner is served at 5:45, 6, 6:15, 6:30 and 6:45 p.m. The three-course meal — appetizer, entree and dessert — is $30.95 plus tax for adults and $20.95 plus tax for children ages 12 and younger.
Thursday dinners are prepared by Menu Design and Flavor Pairing students. The four-course meals serve as fundraisers for local nonprofit organizations (pricing is set by those groups), including:
- Oct. 9: High Peaks Hospice
- Oct. 16: Warren County 250th Commission Colonial Dinner
- Oct. 23: Open Door Mission
- Oct. 30: ASCEND Community Garden
- Nov. 6: Chestertown Helpers Fund
- Nov. 13: Chapman Museum: Finer Experience
- Nov. 20: Kiwanis Club of Glens Falls: Taste the Future
- Dec. 4: Tri-County United Way: Taste of France
“These programs benefit our community and meet our student objectives of designing menus based on ingredient flavor profiles and beverage pairing options,” said Chef Matt Bolton, Culinary instructor at SUNY Adirondack.
The Culinary and Culinary and Baking Arts programs will also offer the annual NAACP Soul Food Gala from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, at Seasoned. Meals are $22 and include classics like fried chicken, collard greens and cornbread.
“As a community and as chefs, we feel strongly about using our resources and talents to assist our local nonprofits,” Bolton said.
