Nursing

The Nursing Program is approved by the New York State Board of Education and is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing, Inc. (ACEN).

This is a prestigious national accreditation that ensures a rigorous and quality program of study with SUNY Adirondack graduates achieving a 90.5% first-time pass rate on the NCLEX licensing exam.

Successful completion of the program enables the graduate to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN) Hegis Code Nursing 5208.

Nursing Program Outcomes

  • 90% of SUNY Adirondack nursing graduates demonstrate first time passage of the National Council Licensure Exam.
  • 95% of SUNY Adirondack Nursing Program graduates are employed as a Registered Nurse within six to nine months of graduation.
  • 90% of SUNY Adirondack Nursing Program graduates complete the Nursing Program within six semesters of starting the Nursing Program.
